WORKPLACE HEALTH & SAFETY

Confined Space Entry

Price: $49.00 (Incl. GST)

Course Overview

Confined spaces contain many potential hazards which can cause serious injury or even death. Many of these hazards are invisible and unable to be detected without specialised equipment.

Work Workplace Health and Safety laws are very specific about the requirements for confined space entry. To meet these requirements organisations must have established risk management practices related to confined space entry and inform workers of these practices.

This course will highlight many of the potential hazards present in confined spaces and the different types of controls that can be used to minimise the risk. It will also explain the processes that workers must go through prior to entry, including conducting a risk assessment and obtaining an entry permit.
