Course Overview

In the unfortunate event that a worker is injured in the course of their employment, organisations are legally obligated to provide the necessary support and assistance to help them recover from their injury and return to work in a timely, safe and permanent manner.

Managers play a key role in the injury management processes. As a result, this course has been designed to introduce managers to the process they must follow when a worker under their supervision is injured. In particular, this module will look at workers' compensation legislation and return to work activities.
