Course Overview

Organisations in Australia are obliged under relevant State or Territory Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation to promote and ensure a safe work environment for all persons. Workplace inspections, as part of the risk management process, act as an effective means of ensuring such a safe work environment. 

This course defines the concept of workplace inspections and discusses them in terms of the risk management process. The course also highlights key aress to be assessed whilst inspecting workplaces, sites and environments.
